The Department of Media, Communications, Creative Arts, Language and Literature (MCCALL) at Macquarie University is seeking to appoint a highly qualified teaching-intensive academic as Lecturer (Level B) in Modern Greek Studies. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of teaching excellence, leadership and community engagement in Modern Greek Studies. The successful applicant will be expected to: develop and convene units in Modern Greek studies at undergraduate levels; contribute to a culture of scholarship; engage with relevant stakeholders in the community and industry, including through externally funded projects; and make contributions to the administration of the Department, Faculty and University.
The Teaching & Leadership Academic is a specialist role for Academic staff who dedicate their workload contribution to Teaching, Teaching Leadership, (70%) and Service (30%). This role is required to demonstrate leadership in the design of curriculum and assessment delivery.
