Claire Kramsch is Emerita Professor of German and Affiliate Professor of Education at the University of California at Berkeley. She is well-known for her work on language and culture, and has also published on topics in language and politics, globalization and digital technologies. She has a particular interest in the way Foucault and Bourdieu have influenced the way we conceive of foreign language education.
